Katty Kay is an award-winning journalist with the BBC, whose instinctively global perspective on American politics and world affairs comes from living and working across the Middle East, Southern Africa, Japan, Europe and the United States throughout her career.
She has been with the BBC for nearly 30 years as a reporter and lead anchor, covering six US presidential elections alongside the full sweep of American political life - financial crashes, scandals, global crises and cultural shifts.
Katty hosts Influential with Katty Kay, a BBC interview series featuring in-depth conversations with some of the most powerful and pioneering people in the worlds of culture, business and science. She is a regular contributor and substitute host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Alongside broadcasting, she writes a weekly news column for BBC News and creates TV documentaries from the US and Europe, including Trump: The Comeback? (2022), which examined the fate of American democracy.
She is also a bestselling author. Katty is co-author, with Claire Shipman, of six books, including four New York Times bestsellers (two of them Number 1) examining women, confidence and power - most recently The Power Code. She speaks fluent French and Italian (and rather rusty Japanese) and lives in Washington, DC with her husband, their pets and four grown children.

Anthony Scaramucci is a global investor and financier, a lawyer, author and podcaster. He is the founder and co-managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, an alternative investment firm based in New York City and chairman of SALT, a global thought leadership forum and venture studio.
He is best known publicly for his short tenure as White House communications director under President Trump, having previously served on the 16-person presidential transition team executive committee. In 2019 he became an outspoken critic of Trump and in 2020 joined with other Republicans to launch Right Side PAC, supporting Joe Biden’s campaign.
Alongside his business career, he is the author of multiple books, including Goodbye Gordon Gekko and The Little Book of Bitcoin. He has been recognised within global finance, including receiving the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year New York Award in Financial Services.
Anthony holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University and a JD from Harvard Law School. He serves in roles including trustee of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation and member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
